Bruni Jacob

Plucked instrument maker

Born in Radeberg near Dresden, she graduated from the Fachhochschule fuer Musikinstrumentenbau Markneukirchen as guitar maker.

Lives and works in Erlbach/Vogtland.

She received her further training as lutemaker in the workshop of Prof Dr Guenter Mark in Elsa. She has been with the Liuto forte team since 1998 and has a particularly wide experience in building this instrument. Each liuto forte leaving her workshop is stamped with her inborn musicality and charms with its faultless workmanship.
